Hi,
I just installed 5308, and I am having DNS errors. I can ping and surf to IP based addresses, but I cannot get to named addresses. I have disabled IPv6 functionality, tested with both dynamic and static IP address, setting DNS servers to both my router and to my ISP's servers. I have run out of ideas.
Any hints and tips on what to try next is appreciated.
Thanks,
Morten

DNS errors in Vista (5308)
Morten, Please note i started a thread on 3/9 with very similar problems to this. I spent countless hours trying to toubleshoot this problem with Vista, DNS, my ISP, and i even ripped appart my network. Finally i asked a friend to barrow his router and test it on my network and get what!!! it was my router (yes, i rebooted my old router 1000 times and still had problems).
I broke down and bought a new router and now things can't be better! good luck.
